My name is Gilbert Blankenship and I got my start in photography as a high school student in late 70's and early 80's.

After school I joined the military. When the price of silver skyrocketed in the mid 80's (combined with low military pay) I simply couldn't afford it anymore.

Enter the digital age. With a bit of investment in new hardware I am back, and more excited than ever.

I am currently replacing aged equipment, rebuilding my photographic suite and re-learning my skills through the acclaimed courses at the New York Institute of Photography. I am a freelance amateur photographer with a modest home studio. I can also shoot in a limited space at your location if you desire. I have a complete set of studio photographic equipment including stands, lighting and backdrops. So, if you are looking to have some photography done and are on a budget - give me a shout. Perhaps we can help each other out.
