Models

I am constantly seeking models. I not only want to help you build your own portfolio, but to expand mine - as well as to continue to hone my skills. If you are interested in modeling, please contact Gilbert Blankenship.

I am a very easy going person with a sense of humor and am more than willing to work with you in regards to subject, content, pose, location - whatever your needs. My goal is to make you happy with the results

I currently have a modest home studio - so shoots can either done on location, or at my studio in front of a background. If you would like the shoot to take place at your residence I certainly can bring the drop to you, in order shoot you in your own comfortable environment.

I will, almost always, conduct a shoot with my wife, who is my assitant. I suggest whenever you meet with a photographer for the first time always bring someone with you as well. If you are not 18 years of age or older - I require that your parent or guardian be present at the shoot. I am sorry - I am not flexible on this point.

In general, depending upon the type of shoot and your comfort level with the photographer you may desire to bring an escort on the shoot as well. I encourage this. However, I ask that you bring only one other person. I also ask that this person understand that the session is a professional arrangement between the model and photographer - not every onlooker.

If you are concerned about what will become of the photos following the shoot, don't be. We have a very explicit agreement which clearly states what the photos may and may not be used for, how and where they may be shown (if at all) and who has those rights.
